Bridget Fonda made a rare appearance in Los Angeles Aug. 12, over two decades after she retired from acting. In the years since her retirement, the 62-year-old married musician and composer Danny Elfman in 2003, and they went on to welcome son Oliver Elfman, now 21, in 2005. And Fonda has shown very little interest in returning to the screen since her last appearance in the 2002 miniseries Snow Queen, sharing in 2023, "It’s too nice being a civilian." The Jackie Brown actress’ decision to leave the industry has set her apart from her famous family, as she is the granddaughter of classic Hollywood star Henry Fonda, the daughter of actor Peter Fonda and his first wife Susan Brewer, as well as the niece of actress Jane Fonda.
