Chris Evans isn’t invincible anymore. Nearly one year after he and his wife Alba Baptista welcomed their daughter Alma Grace, the Marvel star reflected on the “unexpected” part of being dad to his baby girl. “It sounds a little cheesy, but not to other parents: How much you miss them,” Evans told The Dodo in an interview published Aug. 18. “We’ll put her down for a nap and I just want to see what she’s looking like on the baby monitor.” The Avengers: Doomsday star also praised his dog of over 10 years, Dodger, for naturally adjusting to having a baby in the house, describing him as “protective” and noting that Dodger will sleep outside of Alma’s room during naptime.
