Wafae Atid, a Moroccan woman shared her experience living as a migrant in Ceuta, Spain, expressing that she feels safer living on the streets of Ceuta then in her home country of Morocco.
She says although the conditions in Ceuta are far from ideal, she knew she had to leave Morocco. Atid says she does not have a religion and when living in Morocco, she felt pressured to join Islam.
During her time in Ceuta, the young woman says she has experienced harassment from other migrants, specifically men, at the site.
