    Trump Says He May Lower Tariffs on Canada to Other Countries’ Levels (Q&A)

    President Trump told reporters that he may lower tariffs on Canada to a level consistent with other countries, after earlier Bloomberg reporting that the US is set to halve tariffs on Canadian exports of steel and aluminum. President Trump said that he has a ‘very nice relationship’ with Canadian leadership right now as the two countries settle on a trade deal. The president also discussed the AI industry, telling reporters that he is planning to meet with ‘AI people’ next week.
