Dolly Parton’s younger sister, Freida Parton, mourns the country icon in a heartfelt post on Facebook. Freida, 69, recalls Dolly ‘stepping up’ to raise her as a teenager. The singer and songwriter says they had their share of ups and down like all siblings, but insists, ‘I never stopped loving her.’ Freida also assures fans she’s working on something ‘very special’ to honor Dolly that she plans to share in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, Freida’s daughter, Jada Star, paid tribute to Dolly at the Grand Ole Opry, singing their duet, ‘The Orchard.’
