Nepal has begun burying hundreds of unidentified victims in a forest in Chitwan district after last week’s catastrophic floods swept bodies far from the disaster zone. On August 31, authorities buried more than 200 unidentified bodies who were not claimed by their families, as the death toll from the glacial collapse-triggered floods reached nearly 1,000, with more than 4,400 people missing.
