The Zombies franchise is mourning one of its stars. Carla Jeffrey, who played cheerleader Bree in the hit Disney Channel film series, has died at the age of 33. The actress’s longtime manager confirmed her Sept. 1 passing in an Instagram post the next day, calling Jeffery “a beautiful, vibrant and incredibly talented woman whose radiant smile could light up any room.” Several of Jeffery’s Zombies costars, such as Chandler Kinney and Milo Manheim, paid their tributes in the Instagram comments. In addition to ‘Zombies,’ Jeffery made appearances in shows like Southland, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Shake It Up and Good Luck Charlie. An official cause of death has not been revealed.
