Stavros Floros is seeking compensation after suffering a gruesome injury. Nearly four months after the Survivor Greece contestant lost his leg in a boat accident during the show’s production, he sued the show for $100 million, claiming conditions of filming led to his injuries, according to the lawsuit obtained by E! News Sept. 3. While spearfishing in the ocean near the Dominican Republic, Floros’ legs were struck by the propellers of a tourist boat, causing grave injury to his right leg and resulting in the loss of his left leg, per the filing. The 22-year-old argues in his lawsuit that the producers were negligent and did not do their due diligence in establishing safety protocols to keep contestants and tourist boats separate.
