A party that wants to segregate refugee children in the classroom, introduce mass deportations of migrants and ban the Islamic call to prayer has secured a shock local election win in Germany.
Alternative for Germany won 43.8% of the vote in the eastern German state of Saxony-Anhalt in Sunday’s election.
It’s the first time a far-right party will govern in the country since the Nazis and Adolf Hitler.
