Sandra Bullock brought her magic touch to the ‘Practical Magic 2’ set. Indeed, her onscreen daughters Joey King and Maisie Williams revealed that Bullock—who is reprising her role as Sally Owens in the highly anticipated Practical Magic sequel—took it upon herself to make sure that even the set’s smallest details were up to par with the original film. “That was such a moment of seeing that house,” the Kissing Booth alum explained, “and I think seeing Sandra and Nicole be Sally and Gilly on set, like you’re watching them and then you realize you’re in the scene too, and you’re like, ‘Oh yeah, OK, that’s right, I have to focus.’ Like they’re so mesmerizing to watch.” Bullock and Kidman—joined by Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest as their onscreen aunts—starred in the original 1998 film as a pair of witchy sisters setting out to break their family’s longstanding curse. And 30 years after the original film cast a spell on fans, Williams and King know the film’s OG stars have their backs as they navigate becoming additions to the cult-classic. ‘Practical Magic 2’ is in theaters Sept. 11.
