Drone footage captured by photographer Braden Geddes showed the devastation left by Hurricane Lowell in Poipu, Kaua’i, on September 8. The footage shows damaged roads, debris, and widespread flooding, while local reports said some homes were destroyed and torn from their foundations. About 33,000 people on Kaua’i were also reported to be without power. Geddes described the destruction as shocking and heartbreaking.
