As Israel removes millions of tonnes of rubble from Palestine’s Gaza, rights groups warn that crime scenes, human remains and evidence of Israeli crimes could be disappearing with it.
Tel Aviv, which controls access to areas under Israeli military occupation amid its ongoing blockade of Gaza, continues to deny access to the besieged Palestinian territory to independent international investigators.
From those killed and still missing beneath the rubble to the erasure of Palestinian homes and communities, the question is not only how Gaza will be rebuilt, but also what will remain as evidence of Israel’s genocide.
