Survivors search through the ruins of burned-out houses after a major fire swept through a residential area and spread to two schools in Bukavu, eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, on September 10.
The blaze destroyed numerous homes and left hundreds of residents without shelter. At least 26 students were killed and several others injured.
