Busy Philipps sits down with ET’s Emily Curl, six months after having a brain tumor removed, a cancer scare she discovered from a routine health scan. The actress, who was on hand at NYFW to debut a dress made entirely from If You Care non-toxic parchment paper (fans can enter to win their own version!), shares an update on her health and how her late ‘Dawson’s Creek’ co-star/friend, James Van Der Beek (who died from cancer February), served as a sort-of guardian angel throughout her experience. Busy, who underwent two surgeries to remove the tumor and now lives with titanium plates in her head, is feeling great and back to work, starring in the new series ‘Cupertino,’ premiering Oct. 8 on CBS and Paramount+.
