In South Africa, the body of a ninth woman has been found dumped in Ekhuruleni – east of Johannesburg, amid growing fears a serial killer may be at work.
The latest discovery is the third this week.. the others have taken place over the past two months. All the women were in their 20s or 30s – one of them went missing while out jogging. Police say similarities in the cases are ‘sufficiently concerning’ for them to issue a public warning. The killings have fueled public anger over the safety of women in the country ..and brought protestors out on the streets.
