Tim Janus, an alum of ‘The Amazing Race’ and competitive eating pioneer, has died after a cancer battle. He was 49. Janus, who was known as Eater X on the competitive eating circuit, won titles downing tiramisu, sushi and ramen noodles. He was eventually ranked as the no. 2 eater in the world, behind only Joey Chestnut, whom he competed with on ‘The Amazing Race’ season 30, which aired in 2018.
