An Israeli drone strike targeted a vehicle in southern Gaza City on September 27, killing at least one Palestinian and wounding several others.
Footage from the al-Sina’a intersection shows thick black smoke rising from the charred vehicle as residents rush to extinguish the flames and emergency crews recover a body from the wreckage.
The strike comes despite the ceasefire that took effect last October. Gaza health authorities say Israeli attacks since then have killed more than 1,300 Palestinians and wounded thousands more, while the overall Palestinian death toll since October 2023 has surpassed 73,000.
