"Balance of Power" focuses on the intersection of politics and global business. On today’s show, Rep. Madeleine Dean (D-PA) says the federal government must play a role in regulating artificial intelligence and work to establish guardrails, arguing that competition with China does not give Washington a pass on oversight. Francis deSouza, Scale AI CEO, says comprehensive testing is needed to understand what AI models can do and the risks they pose before determining how to mitigate them.
