The National Police, supported by the Civil Guard and local authorities, launched an operation on Sunday morning to dismantle a makeshift migrant settlement on Trampolín Beach in the Spanish territory of Ceuta. The camp had housed more than 3,000 migrants living in squalid conditions in hundreds of tents, sleeping on cardboard sheets for weeks. Following the eviction, those displaced are being transported by bus to a Temporary Reception Center for Foreigners for initial processing.
