Caleb Flynn has learned his fate. After being found guilty for the February murder of his wife Ashley Flynn, the former ‘American Idol’ contestant was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole on Oct. 5. He was also sentenced to nine years for tampering with evidence and seven years for firearm enhancements, all to be served consecutively, or one after the other. During the sentencing, statements written by Caleb and Ashley’s two preteen daughters were read to the court, where they slammed their father for taking their mother away from them. Ashley’s father, Todd Smith, also spoke directly to the judge and asked her to sentence the former pastor to the “fullest extent of the law.” Caleb’s attorney Patrick Mulligan expressed his intent to file a notice of appeal in a statement to E!
