Have you ever felt spiritually stuck, weighed down by unjudged sin, and paralyzed by the fear that God is ready to give up on you or cut you off? In this liberating class John Barnett dismantles the terrifying lie that an unfruitful season means rejection from God.
The Radical Truth of Airo–Unpacking John 15:2, Barnett exposes how traditional misinterpretations claim that non-bearing branches are cut off and burned. But using Scripture to interpret Scripture (analogia scriptura), he highlights the Greek word for "takes away"—airo.
Across the Gospels, airo never means discard or burn; it means to pick up, lift, and carry. Just as Simon of Cyrene lifted up Christ’s cross and the disciples picked up the leftover baskets after feeding the 5,000, your Heavenly Father does not destroy trailing branches.
From the Dirt Back into the Sunlight–When a grapevine branch falls into the muck and mud of sin, lying out of the sunlight of fellowship, the Vinedresser doesn’t discard it. He gently washes away the dirt, lifts the branch off the ground, and ties it back up into the sunlight so it can thrive.
Watch this class to exchange the fear of condemnation for the joy of divine restoration. Learn how God’s loving chastening is not punishment, but a gentle rescue designed to wash away soul-cancers, restore your spiritual health, and make your life overflow with fruit once again.
