Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake’s son Silas proved he’s not counting out a career in acting with a brief cameo in his mom’s new film Matchbox: The Movie. At the end of the film, which also stars John Cena, the 11-year-old appears briefly, though doesn’t have any lines. Prior to the film’s release, Biel—also mom to Phineas, 6, with Timberlake—reflected on whether Silas took after her or her husband more.“My 11-year-old is a little bit of both,” Biel told E! News at the film’s premiere Oct. 5. “He plays a small part in the movie at the very end, which is really cute.” But don’t blame Silas if he can’t stop the feeling of also being intrigued by his dad’s musical gene. As Biel revealed of her elder son, “He’s a DJ, so he’s kind of interested in both lanes.”
