Israeli strikes have hit Gaza with Deir al Balah and Gaza City among the areas targeted.
At least five Palestinians were killed and eight wounded when an Israeli strike hit a gathering of civilians in Gaza City on Saturday, while Israeli attacks killed two other people in separate incidents. Earlier, at least six people were injured by Israeli gunfire in Khan Younis, according to medical sources there. More than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire took effect in October last year.
