A stray dog named Morocho captivated audiences across Santiago, Chile, on Tuesday after surviving a dramatic multi-hour ordeal in the rain-swollen Mapocho River. Trapped on a concrete barrier for over two hours, the dog endured five failed rescue attempts by firefighters, municipal workers, and special operations units, and was even swept through dangerous floodgates. The tense situation ended in relief when Morocho finally managed to escape the fast-flowing waters safely.
