Ellen Wald, president of Transversal Consulting and nonresident senior fellow at the Atlantic Council Global Energy Center, says she sees no recent move by the president that could materially bring down oil prices. Republican Congressman Tim Moore of North Carolina said he believes Democrats are unlikely to win a House majority, but criticized their stated priorities if they do, arguing that investigations and efforts to impede opponents should not dominate Congress.
