FRANCE 24’s Claire Paccalin reporting from the student demonstrations near Invalides characterised Tuesday’s protest as “mostly calm and smooth” and that the vast majority of demonstrators want this to go peacefully as do the authorities. “It’s people marching through the streets, young people trying to get their voices heard,” Paccalin said.
