New text messages in the Cornell 7 case show Jane Doe telling one of the accused fraternity brothers "none of the sexual stuff was illegal" days after the alleged 2024 assault at Chi Phi, then later saying 90% of that night was not consensual. Cornell University has now banned fraternity parties for the rest of the year, President Michael Kotlikoff has apologized, and faculty are debating a no-confidence vote, all before anyone has been charged. With no physical evidence and one accused student telling investigators he was too intoxicated to consent, is this justice or a verdict without a trial?
