At least five people have been killed and 16 others wounded when the Houthi militia targeted the Al-Maashiq Presidential Palace in the Yemeni interim capital of Aden with ballistic missiles, according to Yemen’s health minister.

A government source told Anadolu Agency on Thursday that the attack involved five ballistic missiles, and that several members of the government were inside the palace at the time of the attack.

Yemeni Health Minister Qassem Buhaibeh said on US social media company Facebook that the casualties were guards and civilian employees working at the presidential complex.

The Information Ministry said Prime Minister Shaya al-Zindani and members of the government were "safe" after the attack.
