Former Israeli ambassadors protested on Sunday outside the Foreign Ministry in West Jerusalem following a series of attacks by illegal Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank that left an American journalist, a French mayor and several Palestinians wounded.
Holding handwritten signs, about a dozen former Israeli diplomats called on the Israeli government to put an end to “Jewish terrorism.”
The protest followed attacks by illegal Israeli settlers on European diplomats, a Washington Post journalist, a French mayor and multiple Palestinian farmers in the occupied West Bank.
The Israeli military has recently been filmed uprooting olive trees and protecting Israeli settlers as they attack Palestinian families.
The olive harvest in the occupied West Bank officially began on October 15.
However, escalating violence by Israeli settlers, military raids, access restrictions and the expansion of illegal settlements — including the rapid establishment of dozens of outposts — are increasingly preventing Palestinians from reaching their land.
