Are you seeking spiritual clarity, freedom, and bold encouragement in navigating modern cultural celebrations? In a world that often treats ancient traditions as harmless fun, where do you find the discernment needed to honor God with confidence? This eye-opening class offers far more than a history lesson—it provides a deeply encouraging path to unshakable faith, spiritual freedom, and victory in Jesus Christ.
By examining the historical roots of October 31st, this course unmasks the dark origins behind popular autumn customs. You will discover how the Celts originally established October 31st as a New Year’s Eve celebration of everything wicked and dead, involving bonfires and costumes made from animal heads and body parts. You will learn how Irish farmers begging food in the name of ancient gods became modern "trick-or-treating", how Roman conquests added apple bobbing to honor fruit tree goddesses, and how hollowed-out turnips and pumpkins with lighted candles were used to scare away demons and symbolize "Jack," a soul doomed to wander outside heaven and hell.
Uncovering these historical roots brings profound encouragement and spiritual liberation to your daily walk. Rather than walking in cultural ignorance or subtle compromise, you will learn to clearly distinguish between pagan traditions and what originates from the Lord. Realizing that Christ has redeemed us empowers you to guard your home with biblical discernment, replace fear-based customs with Gospel light, and walk in the joyful freedom of an uncompromised life!
