A woman was filmed confronting looters outside a supermarket on Rue du Faubourg du Temple in Paris on Saturday, October 17, amid nationwide protests over the cost of living and school conditions. Video captured by Frederic Munsch shows her shouting at people attempting to enter the store through a shattered glass door, insisting the looting was not part of the cause. A man eventually pulled her away as others entered the damaged shop and left with goods. Police reported 351 arrests had been made by Monday morning, October 19, as unrest continued across France.
