A luxury cruise ship suffered considerable damage after strong winds pushed it into two container vessels while departing Bremerhaven, Germany, over the weekend. On Sunday, October 25, the Mein Schiff 3 was attempting to leave port for Spain’s Canary Islands with tugboat assistance when a sudden gust of stormy wind caused it to drift into the moored ships. Video captured from aboard the liner shows its starboard lifeboats colliding with the side of the container ship MSC Victorine.
