Walking across the ancient forum of Corinth toward the grand, raised rostra known as the Bema, this class invites you into the physical setting where Paul ministered during his eighteen months in the city.
It was at this judgment seat that the Lord delivered Paul when he stood before Gallio. Standing in front of this 500-foot-long structure reminded Paul of the single most momentous occasion awaiting every believer: the day we stand at the feet of Jesus.
The profound, life-transforming impact of this course rests in the reality of 2 Corinthians 5:10, which declares that we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ. At the Bema seat, Jesus will see us face to face and personally assess what each of us accomplished with our one and only precious life, evaluating whether our choices were good or worthless.
Rather than letting your days pass in temporary pursuits, God uses this study to reorient your perspective. Taught on site as part of Paul’s Life and Letters tour, this lesson challenges you to realize that you are actively walking toward the greatest day of your life. By reflecting on where Paul contemplated Christ’s evaluation, God uses His Word to transform your daily character and choices, equipping you to live every moment for His glory.
