Standing in the lower city of ancient Corinth—with the towering Acrocorinth visible above and the Temple of Apollo resting right over the hill—this class offers a joyful and extraordinary opportunity to study God’s Word directly in the "land of the book". Following Paul’s life and letters from teaching in Athens into Acts chapter 18, you experience Scripture coming alive right where these sacred events transpired.
The life-transforming power of this course rests in experiencing Paul’s epistles within their historical and geographic context. As you trace his ministry through Corinth—where Paul authored and sent the monumental Epistle to the Romans from the nearby port of Cenchreae and instructed early believers through his Corinthian letters—God uses these foundational truths to perform a deep, personal work in your heart.
Examining Paul’s teachings on location vividly demonstrates how the gospel radically reshaped lives in the ancient world. Rather than viewing biblical passages as distant history, studying Paul’s life and letters on site anchors your faith in tangible historical reality. God uses this direct encounter with His Word to challenge your daily character, align your choices with His glory, and inspire a deeper, more vibrant walk with Him.
By engaging with Acts 18 and Paul’s epistles right where they happened, this immersive class equips you to apply biblical truth with clarity, conviction, and lasting spiritual transformation.
