Elon Musk recently opened up about the medical gender reassignment of his daughter Vivian, revealing that he felt deceived into allowing the procedure. In an interview with Dr. Jordan Peterson on the Daily Wire, Musk expressed his belief that he was misled into signing documents for the reassignment during the chaotic period of the COVID-19 pandemic. He described the experience as feeling like a betrayal, stating that he was told his child might commit suicide if they did not proceed with the change.

Musk criticized the concept of allowing children to undergo gender transitions, labeling it as “incredibly evil” and suggested that those promoting such procedures should face imprisonment. He emphasized that there was no clinical evidence supporting the need for his child’s medical intervention, a point with which Peterson agreed. Musk expressed that he essentially “lost” his child and felt tricked by the entire process.
Referring to his daughter by her former name, Musk underscored his commitment to fighting against what he termed the “woke mind virus,” stating that his son Xavier is “dead” because of it. Deadnaming, the act of using a transgender person’s former name against their wishes, was a term Musk used during the interview, reflecting his refusal to accept the transition.
Musk is voting for Trump because Musk signed paperwork allowing his son to take gender affirming meds in 2020 during the Trump administration, and that’s somehow the fault of democrats?🤷♀️

Musk’s dissatisfaction with California’s laws supporting transgender rights led him to announce the relocation of SpaceX and X headquarters from California to Texas. He criticized California Governor Gavin Newsom’s recent legislation, which bans schools from notifying parents if a child starts using different pronouns, calling it the final straw for his decision to move.
Vivian, who transitioned in 2022, petitioned a California court to change her name and gender, also requesting to take her mother’s last name to sever ties with Musk. In her court filing, Vivian expressed that she no longer wished to be related to her biological father in any way. Musk, who has twelve children, shares Vivian and five other kids with his ex-wife Justine Wilson.
