French far-right leader Marine Le Pen went on trial Monday on charges of embezzling European Parliament money, in a case that could endanger her presidential ambitions. He says that it will be very difficult for Marine Le Pen to make her case and that a conviction could have a serious impact on support for the National Rally from more moderate voters.
