The Puerto Rican singer and actress Jennifer Lopez has hit out after a comedian at a Donald Trump rally described her homeland as a "floating island of garbage".
The star told a Kamala Harris rally in Nevada that Tony Hinchcliffe had offended "every Latino in this country".
"It wasn’t just Puerto Ricans who were offended that day, it was every Latino in this country," she said.
"It was humanity and anyone of decent character."
She continued: "I am Puerto Rican. You can’t even spell American without Rican."
