Assisted dying bill has the ‘right checks and balances’ in place, says shadow minister

Kevin Hollinrake, shadow housing secretary, backs the assisted dying bill saying he thinks "the right checks and balances are there".

Talking to Sky’s Trevor Phillips, Mr Hollinrake says that people ‘should have dominion over their body and’, and that’s "really important" to be given that choice of end of life care.

He also discusses Tory party leader Kemi Badenoch’s plan to reverse Labour’s tax on private school fees, saying "many people make sacrifices to pay for public school" and "the taxes they pay in their general life send other people’s children to school".
