Donald Trump is assuming office on 20 January to become 47th president of the United States. The inauguration ceremony marks the commencement of Trump’s second, non-consecutive term as president. Traditionally, the president-elect and vice-president-elect start the events by arriving at the White House and attending a brief meeting.
