The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants today for the two leaders of the Afghan Taliban, accusing them of crimes against humanity on the basis of gender, and the repression of women and children.
The court in the Hague has issued similar warrants for Israeli leaders and for the leaders of Hamas in the past.
