Donald Trump says the US will take over and redevelop Gaza, turning it into the "Riviera of the Middle East".
Speaking at a news conference with Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, he told reporters Palestinians could be resettled in neighbouring Egypt and Jordan – something both countries have rejected – and the US could "own" Gaza and "develop it, create thousands and thousands of jobs".
