February marks the anniversary of the 1982 Hama Massacre, one of the most brutal assaults on the Syrian people by the Assad regime. For decades, the people of Hama were forced to grieve in silence, but today, with the ousting of the dictatorship, they can finally speak out against the regime’s atrocities and commemorate those killed.
