US Vice President JD Vance has met the Pope.
The meeting, described as quick and private, came as Vance visited the Vatican for talks with Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican Secretary of State.
The Vatican noted what it called an "exchange of opinions" during Vance’s meeting amid tensions over the US crackdown on migrants and mass deportations.
