Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in New Delhi for a two-day state visit aimed at strengthening India–Russia trade and broadening cooperation beyond energy and defense. Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted him at the airport, highlighting the countries’ long-standing ties. The leaders will hold a private dinner followed by summit talks focused on expanding bilateral commerce, including oil, defense systems, and other strategic sectors.
