After major disruptions at many Indian airports, India’s aviation authority has rolled back regulations mandating longer rest periods for pilots and crews, The country’s biggest airline IndiGo says it cancelled more than 1,000 flights, citing "unforeseen operational challenges". The new rules came into effect last month to give pilots more rest and boost passenger safety.
