Hundreds of people dressed as Santa Claus took part in Venice’s annual Santa Claus Water Parade on December 21, rowing along the Grand Canal in traditional Venetian boats. Known locally as the Regata dei Babbi Natale, the festive event is held every December and draws residents and visitors who don costumes and holiday accessories while navigating the city’s waterways in gondolas and other vessels.
