Rob Reiner and Michele Reiner’s children Romy Reiner and Jake Reiner spoke out in a new statement Dec. 22 a week after the filmmaker and photographer were murdered in their L.A. home. Romy and Jake shared that they are in the midst of planning a funeral, with their spokesperson telling People, "They will share information about a memorial service honoring their parents at a later date." Rob and Michele’s son Nick Reiner, 32, has been charged with their murders. If found guilty, his charges carry a maximum sentence of life in prison without parole or possibly the death penalty. His arraignment hearing is scheduled for Jan. 7 at which time Nick, who is being represented by attorney Alan Jackson, is likely to enter his guilty or not guilty plea.
