Blake Lively was calling in favors during post-production of ‘It Ends With Us.’ One came in the form of an email seemingly to her ‘The Town’ costar and director, Ben Affleck, asking for feedback on her cut of the Colleen Hoover adaptation. In the May 2024 email, which was part of a court filing obtained by E! News, Lively detailed her post-production back-and-forth with Baldoni, claiming she โended up rewriting and restructuring the entire scriptโ of ‘It Ends With Us,’ which was officially written by Christy Hall. (The recipient’s last name is redacted from the filing, but Lively’s references throughout the email refer to details about Affleck’s life and work.) In the e-mail, Lively referred to Baldoni as her "chaotic clown โdirectorโ/actor/producer/financier/studio head." E!
