Iran’s top security official, Ali Larijani, has met Oman’s ruler — just days after talks there between officials from Washington and Tehran, aimed at preventing another conflict. The two leaders discussed how to reach an agreement with the US about Iran’s nuclear programme. Iran is offering to dilute its enriched uranium, in exchange for Donald Trump lifting a raft of sanctions on the country. Shadia Edwards Dashti reports.
