In a new interview published March 3, the Oscar winner shared with Entertainment Tonight that the show’s upcoming fifth season has always been planned as the final chapter. According to Jamie, “Everybody knows it’s the end of the show,” adding that the creative team made that intention clear from the beginning. Despite her comments, FX and Hulu have yet to officially confirm whether season five marks the series finale, and no premiere date has been announced. E!
